Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Do you play in leagues with daily moves and looking to strengthen those rosters? At RotoBaller, we’re here for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you’re just trying to get that elusive class win or trying to make up for Kyle Hendricks’ lackluster start last night, we can help. Every day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in the daily shallow and deep fantasy baseball leagues. Streaming batters and pitchers to tap into games are important in helping you win your league.

Knowing your league is important if you are going to broadcast. I’m not just talking about the teams your teammates are rooting for. I’m talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or whether the field stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many trades you have per week. You don’t want to explode your allowance in a few days. You can also use these recommendations to help you build your DFS ranges. This article will use the registered percentages and eligibility for ESPN league positions.

We have seven pitchers who are registered in over 90% of ESPN leagues. Six others are held in more than half of the leagues. That leaves us just over half of the pitchers taking the bump today to choose from.

8/24 Batting Streamers – Shallow Leagues

Jazz Chisholm (2B / SS, LHB, MIA) 49.6% enrolled

Match: vs. WAS RHP Erick Fedde

Chisholm was in my article all weekend against the Reds. If you jumped on Friday, he gave you a homerun, three runs scored, four runs batted in and two steals in the three-game series. He doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon and is going for a Marlins offense that isn’t as bad as most think. There are still some counting stats hidden in this pickup, especially against struggling Nationals pitching staff.

Kolten Wong (2B, LHB, MIL) 45.7% enrolled

Match: vs. CIN RHP Tyler Mahle

Here we have another hot hitter leaving for a solid lineup. Wong reached 0.429 last week with a homerun, five runs scored, seven runs batted in and one steal. He’s contributing across all categories right now at a notoriously weak position.

Myles Straw (OF, RHB, CLE) 42.6% enrolled

Match: vs. TEX LHP Taylor Hearn

Straw does not offer much power. However, Straw leads against lefties and hits .333 with three RBIs, eight RBIs and a pair of interceptions in the past ten days. If you’re late for flights, Straw is an elite pickup.

Ian Happ (OF, LHB, CHC) 35.1% enrolled

Match: v COL RHP German Marquez

I don’t often chase after a launcher like Marquez, but when I do, it’s with a guy on an epic radiator like Happ. Happ hits a record 0.474 with two home runs, three RBIs and four runs scored last week. If his teammates struggled so badly, Happ could have ten RBIs in the week. That’s how good he is hitting right now. If anyone happens to Marquez, it will most likely be Happ and probably no one else.

Streamers Hitter for 08/24 – Leagues Deeper

Frank Schwindel (1B, RHB, CHC) 22.4% enrolled

Match: v COL RHP German Marquez

Since replacing Anthony Rizzo full-time on August 1, Schwindel has reached 0.393 with four homers, 11 runs scored and 15 RBIs. He’s seen his hitting streak end against the Royals, but Schwindel still has hits in each of the last two games and has three of those homers and 12 from the RBI in the last ten games. The count stats suffer from the struggling offense around him, but Schwindel hits just well enough to take on a good pitcher like Marquez.

Nicky Lopez (2B / SS, LHB, KC) 21% enrolled

Match: at HOU RHP Luis Garcia

Lopez has been a beacon in a squad full of average players at best lately. He’s hitting .407 with a homerun, five RBIs, six runs scored and eight goals stolen in the last ten days alone! I know I said straw in an elite pickup for flights, but Lopez is just as good, if not better because of the scarcity of positions. Lopez has slipped three sacks in the last three games. He can earn you flights by himself right now!

Daulton Varsho (C / OF, LHB, ARI) 15.1% enrolled

Match: at PIT RHP JT Brubaker

Varsho is 6-for-12 with three home runs, four runs scored and six RBIs in just the last three games. It will start against all the right-handed down the home stretch and is an elite game for power against all that pitching staff. Lock and load!

Jake Meyers (OF, RHB, HOU) 10.3% enrolled

Match: vs. KC RHP Brady Singer

Meyers has three homers and 10 RBIs in the Astros’ last ten games while posting an average of .338. He has admirably replaced Kyle Tucker. Roll it over there as long as it keeps starting. Meyers showed good power early in his big league career.

Streamers Pitcher for 08/24 – Shallow Leagues

Dylan Bundy (RHP, LAA) 35.7% enrolled

Match: in Baltimore

This is almost entirely matchup based. My fingers threw up a bit on the keyboard as I typed this. Bundy has only managed to allow 12 hits in 19.1 innings since returning to the rotation on July 29. The bad news is that the stairs still get him in trouble sometimes. Still, Bundy allowed a respectable eight runs in those four starts and tallied 14 strikeouts. Again, those are pedestrian numbers, but the Orioles are one of the worst offenses in the league and have been for much of the season. If Bundy is worth taking a chance, it’s here.

Streamers Pitcher for 08/24 – Deeper Leagues

Griffin Jax (RHP, MIN) 9.2% enrolled

Match: in Boston

You have to have stones to lead Jax, but do you want a guy who is at least as likely to win? Ranger Suarez, Taylor Hearn and Drew Rasmussen all have good numbers over the past month, but they’ve only played five innings once to start. combined between them three. Jax has erased five innings in each of his last four starts while allowing just seven runs in 22.1 innings. The 15 strikeouts are solid, but ten of them were against the White Sox. Jax has been doing a good job of limiting the damage lately, and I’m pursuing the gains on ratios at the start of the week.
