TO ANALYSE: Patterson’s involvement in Washington’s backfield rotation had already increased due to multiple health issues that had plagued Antonio Gibson and JD McKissic. Now, Gibson’s placement on the reserve / COVID-19 roster has seen Patterson rise to the top of the football team’s depth chart during their NFC East showdown with Philadelphia.
Wow. Antonio Gibson on the COVID list. Jaret Patterson is the next man. Jonathan Williams and Wendell Smallwood are also expected to star. https://t.co/R7AR71G1wW

Gibson suffered from toe and hip injuries, while McKissic remains on the injured list due to a lingering neck issue that sidelined him since week 12. Patterson should now operate with his load. most important job of the season against the Eagles, even if he will. share contacts with Jonathan Williams.
Patterson’s instant share has gone from 7.2% in Weeks 1 through 13 to 20.8% since Week 14. His averages of 3.7 attempts and 11.8 yards per game through Week 13 are also jumped to 5.7 attempts and 27.3 yards per game in his last three games. . It will easily exceed its most recent averages and can be grabbed from the waiver thread by anyone looking for a flexible option.
Expectations should be tempered by his timeshare with Willams and his clash against a Philadelphia run defense which currently ranks ninth (104.6 yards per game). If you’re looking for a flex point in Week 17, Patterson might be worth it based on the expected hit volume alone. Just be sure to double check and make sure Antonio Gibson is 100% off before you plug Patterson into your roster.
