Amritsar: DAV College, Amritsar has announced that it will give special concessions to senior leaders. Fees were completely waived for students who scored above 95 percentile. Likewise, the fee waiver has been reduced to 40% for those who have achieved more than 90% points. Students obtaining more than 85% in class XII will benefit from a direct discount of 30%. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar launched Mission Admission 2022 in the college and said that SC students will receive free education. Apart from this, registrations have been started for students whose results have not been declared.

DAV student at a state cricket camp

Class XII (Humanities) Student and Cricket Representative Ekamnoor Singh Sandhu did the school proud by qualifying for Punjab State Under-19 Cricket Team Camp at PCA , Mohali. He was the center of attention at the Interdistrict Under-19 and Under-23 tournament with his stunning performance. His brilliant rounds against Ferozepur and Jalandhar district teams paved the way for his camp selection. Extending heartwarming adulation to Sandhu, Head Teacher Dr Resham Sharma expressed his gratitude to Dr Deepak Shoor (Chairman, Cricket and Table Tennis, Amritsar cluster), Mayank (Mentor) and the Faculty of Sports for guiding the youngsters talents in the right direction.

Bhavans SL school organizes havan

Bhavans SL School held a havan at its premises on Tuesday. Staff, management and other members of the school attended, as well as President Avinash Mahindru and Principal Anita Bhalla. Data Science and Business Analytics Bundle

IIM, Amritsar inaugurated the first batch of the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics (DSBA) on July 4 at the college premises. This is a one-year, on-campus program designed for recent graduates with up to two years of work experience who aspire to develop analytical thinking and decision-making skills. The program’s keynote address was delivered by Dr. Mahima Gupta, Dean of Studies, in the presence of Dr. Ankit Sharma and Dr. Shuvabrata Chakraborty, the program coordinators, and Dr. Sunil Reddy Kunduru, President, IT and Computational Systems. Students were informed about the relevance of data science and analytics in the rapidly changing needs of today’s industry. Dr. Ankit gave the mantra to experiment and discover new paths in the field of data science and how the whole program would connect all the dots which are key areas in the field.
